Window Shopping?
Oh! but you are a woman
I could never have mistaken you for a man
When I saw you in the window
I knew that you were priceless
the glass came between us
and I felt the bitterness of the pane
There you were in my spotlight
a classic in design
'One doest ask the cost' they said
So I didn’t, and you were mine
Wrong size, wrong colour, wrong shape?
Sale or return you can't make a mistake
If the feelings dont gel, dont match
just bring her back, there is no catch.
but the woman said 'sorry, im not a man,
you didn’t read the label, hidden inside'
Woman: often contradictory, often denied
